Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bread

Peanut butter chocolate chip bread is not too sweet, and perfect for breakfast or a snack! This recipe makes two loaves, so you can share with a friend – or not.

I love this recipe for a few reasons. First, I love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate. Second, it’s very easy to make. Third, it’s delicious. It’s a great addition to your breakfast or brunch table.

Here’s what you need:

  • 3 c AP flour
  • 1 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 1/2 c buttermilk
  • 1 c creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 c chocolate chips (I used semi sweet)

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 2 loaf pans.

Beat peanut butter, butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Next, beat in the buttermilk and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, beating at low speed.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Divide batter into the two loaf pans and bake for 45 minutes.

Cool for 10 mins.
